Guide to Seal Beach Car Show: Parking, Date

Sponsored by the chamber of commerce, the Seal Beach Car Show is the single largest beachside classic car show of its kind in Southern California. It draws crowds of 20,000 people and over. Parking is free with shuttle service.

Past year's events have featured as many as 600 vintage cars from the early 1920s up to 1979. Cars are judged across as many 30 categories. The Seal Beach Car Show takes place on Main Street in downtown. Old town is closed bringing the community and local businesses together for a joyous and festive occasion. Take an aerial view by watching the video below.

2 shuttles operate every 10 to 12 minutes.

A media center for journalists and photographers is available to credentialed press only. Amenities include desks, WIFI, and refreshments.

When The Seal Beach Car Show Takes Place

The Seal Beach Car show date is the last Saturday in April each year from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Relive nostalgia with classic autos rich in history.

Relax with live music from local bands on two stages playing several different types of musical genres. The event is nationally televised on the Velocity network. Street closures begin at 5:00 am.

Vintage Motorcycle Show

Beginning in 2015, the first vintage motorcycle show occurred. This occurs in conjunction with the Seal Beach Auto show. Bikes from 1979 and are on display. 

Registration is $25.

Media Center for Press

The media center hours are Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. More information is available at the chamber of commerce.
